I couldn’t be more excited to attend the Design for Manufacturing Summit on March 20th. Representatives from some super interesting companies like Machinemade (we wrote about them here) and SketchUp will be speaking and I’m sort of expecting some big things.
My shop partner, Tris, has three new hollow core wooden surfboards in frame. A 5’-10” fish, a 7’-2” hull, and, pictured above, a single fin longboard slated to finish up at 9’-6” x 23” x 3”. I’m amped on each one of them!
Blankets are produced at the Pendleton Woolen Mills facility in Pendleton, Oregon.
Pendleton Woolen Mills, an American clothing manufacturing company, and Nike recently teamed up to design the Nike N7 blanket. Designers looked to traditional patterns of Native American dress for inspiration.
